The advantages of integrating this activity include:<\/p>\n<p>Evaluation of efficiency: Determining how much time was spent compared to initial estimates, identifying any discrepancies or areas of inefficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Progress monitoring: Checking the project&#8217;s progress based on the time already invested, helping to understand if the project is on track with the forecasts.<\/p>\n<p>Pattern identification: Recognizing patterns in the work done, such as which activities take longer than expected or which resources are more frequently involved in specific types of tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Decision support: Providing concrete data to make informed decisions, for example, on how to better allocate resources, where intervention is needed, or if tasks need to be reassigned or rescheduled.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting: Generating detailed reports that can be used for internal review, client presentations, or for administrative and billing purposes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4957 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/wl-analysis.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"662\" height=\"130\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Compose a filter (take a look to this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=UsPCNHNsWqA&amp;list=PL32A8C9C60AEE13FF&amp;index=13\">video tutorial<\/a>) and press \u201csearch\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4959 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/wl-analisys.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1599\" height=\"897\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will get the list of work log matching your filter. As usual you can store you preferred filters for future usage.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the page, totals are reported both in hours and as cost.<\/p>\n<p>You can edit every line in order to fix timing, insertion dates, or descriptions.<\/p>\n<p>Filtering on this page can have two aims: getting worklog totals for a period, or moving worklog to another assignment\/project, selecting it at the bottom of the page. As soon as you check a row:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4960 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/wl-bulk.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1502\" height=\"175\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Actions appear that allow to bulk change worklogs.<\/p>\n<h2>Monitoring worklog<\/h2>\n<p>Inserted work logs are really relevant for monitoring projects, so they are visible from several parts of Twproject:<\/p>\n<p>1) In the project page-&gt; assignments tab<\/p>\n<p>2) In project cost analysis<\/p>\n<p>3) In \u201cmy assignment\u201d home widgets:<\/p>\n<p>4) In resource page -&gt; assignments tab<\/p>\n<p>5) In timesheet week<\/p>\n<p>6) In \u201cworklog for assignment\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Another useful tool for monitoring worklog is Timesheets overview.<\/p>\n<p>This tool is designed to find days where work log is absent, below or over the total per day.<\/p>\n<p>From timesheet menu\u00a0press \u201cTimesheets overview\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4961 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/wl-overview.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1599\" height=\"266\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The legenda will tell you which days have\u00a0\u00a0insufficient, missing or too much work logs.<\/p>\n<p>You can also check the worklogs in a group using the workgroup\u00a0tool.<\/p>\n<h2>Approving Worklog<\/h2>\n<p>The \u201cworklog approval\u201d functionality covers needs of classifying work logs. Classification can mean in function of your needs, billed\/unbilled, approved\/not approved, and you can create your own classification categories.<\/p>\n<p>To change worklog status you need to use worklog analysis page seen above.<\/p>\n<p>To create new work types, go to tools in the main menu and if you have the rights, you\u2019ll find the lookups.<\/p>\n<p>Click \u201cworklog status\u201d and there you can create them.<\/p>\n<p>Of course you can always filter worklogs by type in your searches, say in worklog analysis:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4962 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/wl-approved.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And the print function has been expanded accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Who can approve worklog? There is a new permission \u201cworklog management\u201d local to projects, which lets \u201cmanage worklog, approve it, bill it\u201d: you probably should enable it on project manager roles.<\/p>\n<h2>Attendance Sheet<\/h2>\n<p>This section is dedicated to the attendance sheet. With this page, you can monitor the resource calendar, including agenda events, logged work, and any overtime.<\/p>\n<p>To introduce this functionality, a significant change has been made to agenda events.
