This screen propose you some URLs to access it. Localhost works fine only if you access TW from the machine \u00a0where you install it. Usually the IP works fine for every user connected in the same\u00a0LAN\/intranet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take notes of the address; you will need to remember it the next time you will access Twproject.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Installation completed<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5005\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/install8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"743\" height=\"493\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The installer tries to open the browser to the right location, and you\u00a0can login Twproject for the first time:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5006\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/install9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"677\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For the first time access use &#8220;administrator&#8221; with empty password.<br \/>\nInsert a new password as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<h3>Advanced installation: database<\/h3>\n<p>If you chosen the advanced installation you will\u00a0have to insert the database connection data:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5007\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/install5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"744\" height=\"490\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Depending on the database used, parameters can change. The installer proposes the correct syntax.<\/p>\n<p>Twproject DO NOT CREATE THE DATABASE, so you need to create a database manually in advance. The user you supply for the connection must be fully trusted and must have enough permission to create\u00a0tables, indexes, functions and so on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Test the database connection before to proceed<\/strong>; if the test fail Twproject will not run\u00a0at all.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2544\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/screen1066.jpg\" alt=\"screen1066\" width=\"620\" height=\"264\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Advanced installation:\u00a0http\u00a0server<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5008\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/install6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"741\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Choose the HTTP port Twproject will use.<br \/>\n<strong>Test if the port is free before proceed<\/strong>; if it is not Twproject will not run<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2547\" src=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/screen1068.jpg\" alt=\"screen1068\" width=\"351\" height=\"140\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you are installing Twproject using a public IP address or DNS name, you can specify it.<\/p>\n<p>By default Twproject will be installed as service.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>review the service data and then proceed.<\/p>\n<h2>Removing Twproject \/ Uninstalling<\/h2>\n<p>To uninstall, use the uninstall executable that is on the root of the installation; on Windows and OSX it will also remove the service.<\/p>\n<h2>Installation\u00a0troubleshooting<\/h2>\n<h3>The installer doesn&#8217;t run<\/h3>\n<p>1) check the executable file size with the ones on the site; maybe the download goes wrong<br \/>\n2) Do\u00a0you have permissions to install software on this machine?<br \/>\n3) is the file executable (linux)<\/p>\n<h3>The installer starts, but fails<\/h3>\n<p>Check the log file it is a new installation, and not just the web app (the default case), the installation log file installation.log is in<br \/>\n<em>[installation folder]\/.install4j<br \/>\n<\/em>If from the log file you can\u2019t understand what the problem is <a title=\"Twproject support\" href=\"https:\/\/twproject.com\/support\/submit-a-ticket\/\">contact us<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Installation completed, but\u00a0nothing happens<\/h3>\n<p>1) open a browser on the same machine you installed Twproject and insert one of the addresses proposed during the installation. installation or usage problem<br \/>\n\u00b7 version of Twproject you are using e.g. 6<em>.0 (build 60005)<\/em>.<br \/>\n\u00b7 operating system and database you are using<br \/>\n\u00b7 web server (e.g. Tomcat 6.0) you are using, and whether you are using your own, or the one provided in the download<\/p>\n<h3>FOR INSTALLATION PROBLEMS<\/h3>\n<p>\u00b7 if you are doing an installation, whether
