They were looking to find solutions to connect and integrate the project management part with the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/6lqcRZ22xBA?si=WwwdK2Uq1WGBCQHD\">cost management<\/a> and cost controlling part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their existing solutions were not able to solve the challenges. Their ERP solutions (like SAP) were not suited because they only have an accounting-centric view of the projects and don\u2019t have strong project management features (and the licenses are very expensive). Their <strong>product-related project management tools (like JIRA) did not include any cost and account-based management<\/strong>, and are usually not suited for <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/FQzQphW56l0?si=F_kuyqVw43UklmNT\">waterfall projects<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Temera\u2019s team was also looking to decouple the accounting-centric view from the project management one, in order to dynamically work on internal pricings, timing, staffing, ecc compared to what is accounted for and billed for on the client-side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe were looking for a solution that could meet the challenges of project planning, budget management, and cost control. Despite the numerous options on the market, including well-known tools like Wrike, Asana, JIRA, and the extensive Atlassian ecosystem, none of them could provide what we needed.
